Dean Klapatch

Dean has inspected thousands of cell phone towers and wind turbines with drones, and flown many sites in both rural and dense urban environments.

Very familiar with construction processes from managing construction projects.  Brings real world experience in using drones in a wide variety of environments.

Enjoys teaching others and sharing how to use the current equipment safely and effectively. Dean has been flying radio controlled aircraft for more than 20 years.

Rory Paul

Since 2006 Rory has been actively working with unmanned aircraft ranging from lighter than air systems to fixed wing and rotary wing UAV platforms in an effort to promote the benefits of automated flight in the civil sector.

He performed some of the first crop mapping and scouting missions in the US using unmanned aircraft. He has accumulated hundreds of flight hours using unmanned aerial systems for both agricultural mapping, aerial crop scouting missions, and industrial applications as well as training student pilots in practical UAS operation and prep for their 107 certification. He is the founder of the Facebook community

“Unmanned Aircraft and Agriculture” a clearing houses for all things related to unmanned aircraft and their use in agriculture.

He has contributed to the popular sUAS News Youtube channel and spoken at numerous industry events.

In 2016 he obtained his 107 certification and continues to fly on a regular basis. 

Zac Burns

We do think of Zac as Superman

Zac is a gifted instructor who also flies full sized gliders as a hobby, Zac is good at helping students take next steps in their drone flight skills and finding appropriate software for applications in the field.
